Requirements
- Master Degree in Hospital or Business Administration, Science of Nursing or related area is required.
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing is required.
- Seven years experience in Administration with at least five years in a senior leadership capacity.
- New York State Registered Nurse License
Nice To Haves
- Product line experience a plus.
- Membership in the American College of Healthcare Executives is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Has responsibility for the support departments throughout the ORMC and Pavilion Perioperative Services to include: Sterile Processing Department, Surgical Tissue oversight, Perioperative Services Materials Management, Special Orders, Perioperative Services Scheduling, and Guest Relations.
- Responsible for providing operational oversight of assigned departments including developing their strategic plans, formulating budgets, business analytics, managing specific projects, developing/revising policy, making timely decisions that directly impact business operations, ensuring timely and effective communication, and collaboration amongst departments.
- Act as an administrative liaison to patients, families, hospital employees and external customers.
- Serve as Liaison to the Physician Offices, Department of Anesthesia, and Department of Surgery to foster positive relations and programmatic growth and development.
