The Dallas Campus is specifically seeking an adjunct clinical instructor to teach in the School of Nursing.

Requirements

• Hold an unrestricted license to practice in Texas.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) will be considered for LPN programming.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree in Nursing
• significant clinical background or prior teaching experience (for BSN holders for LPN programming)
• experience in secondary instruction

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional standards of practice in teaching in the clinical settings.
• Collaborate with course faculty and works closely with clinical coordinator.
• Facilitate effective learning and critical thinking/reasoning during clinical while fostering a positive learning environment.
• Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship with clinical agencies.
• Monitors student progress with evaluations and grades care plans as assigned.
• Provides positive and constructive feedback if needed.
