About The Position
Avenues Recovery Center is a nationwide network of drug and alcohol rehab centers with 18 locations across 7 states. They offer the highest standard of medical and clinical treatment, including detox, residential, PHP IOP, and outpatient services, and are JCAHO and CARF accredited, in full compliance with ASAM standards. The center is hiring compassionate professionals for Nurses (RNs or LPNs) for both Evening Shift (3p-11p) and Day Shift (7a-3p) positions. The role involves stimulating yet meaningful work within an all-star team.
Requirements
- High School diploma/ GED
- Minimum one-year diploma program post-high school
- Current, valid licensure to practice nursing in-state, or compact license with multistate privileges
- Strong critical thinking, oral and written communication skills
- Excellent collaborative, multitasking and time management skills
Nice To Haves
- 1 year experience in treatment industry preferred
Responsibilities
- Complete comprehensive medical assessment for each client upon admission
- Perform all nursing shift duties (screening, vitals, scheduling appts and labs, updating charts...)
- Address pharmacy needs and prescription authorizations; dispense meds and maintain med logs
- Collaborate with medical, clinical and UR teams to ensure seamless coordination of care
- Ensure impeccable medical documentation, chart review, and medication logging for each client
