The Nursery Room Leader role offers a salary range of £28,000 to £33,000 and is a full time, 40 hours per week position. Requirements

Relevant childcare qualification, Level 3 minimum
Experience working within management in Early Years
Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English including functional skills (if Level 3 qualification obtained after 2014)

Responsibilities

Lead your team with the smooth running of day-to-day activities by communicating key information to team members and parents
Be a positive role model by inspiring outstanding teaching and learning every day
Lead your team’s performance reviews by giving supportive feedback, setting clear SMART goals, and encouraging them to grow and reach their next steps
Work closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) ensuring the safety and welfare of all children is always prioritised and at the heart of everything we do
Lead an ambitious curriculum for your room making sure that everyone is striving for outstanding in their education delivery
Ensure that the key person approach is well embedded in your room and every child also has both a key person and a buddy key person
