About The Position

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience. The role is with TriStar Summit Medical Center, a comprehensive facility serving Davidson, Wilson, and surrounding counties. The facility has more than 230 beds, a Level III Trauma Center, and a range of acute care services.

Requirements

Registered Nurse.
Bachelor’s degree.
Two years of Nursery/NICU RN experience required.
Neonate Resuscitate certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
STABLE certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
STABLE Foundations (RN).
Basic Cardiac Life Support, BCLS Instructor, or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
Assist with admission and discharge processes.
Partner with subject matter experts and the leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
Assist with staff scheduling.
Monitor and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies.
Coordinate all functions in the unit and serve as a resource for staff.
