About The Position

Join Our Team as an Infant/Nursery Teacher! Are you kind, dependable, and love caring for babies? Chambliss Center for Children is looking for a caring Infant/Nursery Teacher to help create a safe and loving space for our youngest children to grow and learn. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• Experience working with infants
• Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
• Comfortable sitting on the floor for long periods
• Pass a fingerprint background check

Nice To Haves

• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential

Responsibilities

• Take care of infants in a safe and loving way
• Feed babies bottles and solid food (when ready)
• Change diapers and keep play, sleep, and changing areas clean
• Comfort babies with cuddles, songs, and gentle care
• Work with other teachers, parents, and volunteers
• Watch for any health concerns and respond as needed
