Catholic Nursery Caregiver
About The Position
Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time Nursery Caregiver for its classical and Catholic Nursery space, located near Kansas City in Overland Park, Kansas. This role involves caring for children aged infant through two years old for 14 hours per week. While a teaching certification or formal teaching experience is not required, the ideal candidate will have a deep love for the Catholic faith and be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church. The academy provides curriculum and grading guidelines, and tutors receive training on RCA standards for instruction and classroom management. The position requires strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, and a traditional view of the student-teacher relationship. All staff must be living the Catholic faith daily and have received appropriate sacraments. A background check and RCA Safe Child training are mandatory for all employees.
Requirements
- Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
- Deep love for the Catholic faith.
- Living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.
- Strong communication skills.
- Good organization.
- Timeliness.
- A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
- Must be available to attend one mandatory training day on August 12, 13, or 14, 2026 (TBD) (8am-5pm).
- Must complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training prior to teaching.
