About The Position
The nursery attendant supervises children and their activities from ages 8 weeks to 14 years at Carilion Wellness facilities. Ensures childrens safety and well-being in the nursery, playland, and youth areas at all times. Enforces the child sick policy and other policies while utilizing the nursery. Maintain nursery bathroom neat and clean. Watch the children and their activities at all times. Contact parent if child's diaper needs to be changed. Ensures safety with the toys, books, etc. Keep nursery neat and clean.
Requirements
- Minimum two years high school education.
- Work permit required if under 18 years of age.
- No experience required.
- AHA BLS-HCP certification is required (adult and infant/child).
