About The Position
As a nurse in the community, you’ll be an essential part of the care team, providing hands-on nursing care and supporting residents’ health and well-being while ensuring dignity and respect. You’ll also serve as a resource and leader to caregivers, helping create a supportive and collaborative environment.
Requirements
- LPN or RN licensure.
Nice To Haves
- One year of LPN/RN experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients as assigned.
- Administer and record medications and treatments as assigned.
- Reinforce and provide health care instructions to patients and their families.
- Participate with other team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities.
- Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
- Observe and report patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and general condition to the appropriate individuals.
- Record observations of patients’ responses to nursing care in patient charts.
- Maintain environmental conditions conducive to patients’ comfort and safety.
- Assist with unit management and/or assume charge of a unit as assigned.
