About The Position

Loden Vision Center is looking for a Full-Time Registered Nurse to work in pre- and post-op for our surgery center in Goodlettsville, TN from 6:30am - 4:30pm. This candidate will support and care for our patients and facilitate their recovery. Our goal is to promote patient’s well-being by providing high quality care.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a registered nurse
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times
• A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Responsible and compassionate
• Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Patient with excellent problem-solving skills
• BS or other diploma from a nursing program
• Valid nursing license
• RN (Required)
• ACLS Certification (Required)
• Ability to commute/relocate: Goodlettsville, TN 37072: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Nice To Haves

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Education: Bachelor's (Preferred)
• Experience: Nursing: 2 years (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient’s condition and provide the best possible care and advice
• Work in pre op, post op, and circulate
• Assist with cataract surgeries and Ophthalmic procedures
• Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to Ophthalmologist
• Collaborate with team members to understand care plan for patient
• Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, etc.)
• Provide instant medical care in emergencies
• Assist surgeons during operations
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families
