About The Position
Moosehaven is a private membership retirement community located on the banks of the St Johns River, in the heart of Orange Park, Florida. With a full range of programs and services, Moosehaven provides seniors 65 and older a comfortable and secure retirement option. Residents enjoy the benefits of social interaction and support services within a residential community that has served members of the Loyal Order of Moose since 1922. Moosehaven is looking for a Nurse to join their team. This is a part-time position working 8 hours per week on the 1st shift, with a schedule of 6:45a - 3:15p. The role requires working every other weekend in the ELF Unit.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license in the State of Florida or Compact (multi-state).
- Valid CPR/BLS (online certification not accepted).
- LPN's must have an IV certification or 90 days to obtain one upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- Long Term Care experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the ELF Unit.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Monitor resident health and report changes.
- Assist residents with daily living activities as needed.
- Maintain accurate resident records.
