Requirements
- Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Proficiency in medication administration.
- Ability to interpret and verify physician orders.
- Familiarity with electronic health records and medical software.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Effective time management.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Setting up, administering, and accurately recording prescribed medications.
- Coordinating patient care and non-patient care activities by developing and distributing clear nursing assignments for each unit employee.
- Verifying physician orders against medication forms.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and proper storage of medications.
- Upholding a tidy working environment.
- Administering vital signs and meticulously documenting changes in residents’ conditions.
- Ensuring medical records are current and reflective of routine assessments.
