About The Position

Crystal Lake Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time Unit Manager (LPN/RN) to provide clinical leadership and oversee daily nursing operations at its Bayville, New Jersey facility. The position pays $42 per hour. The Unit Manager supports resident-centered care while supervising, mentoring, and developing nursing staff and ensuring compliance with care standards, regulations, and facility policies.

Requirements

• Active New Jersey LPN or RN license.
• Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to compassionate, resident-focused care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations and workflow on the assigned unit.
• Supervise and support nursing staff, including LPNs, RNs, and CNAs.
• Monitor resident care to ensure compliance with care standards and regulations.
• Review and update care plans, documentation, and clinical records.
• Administer medications and treatments as needed.
• Communicate with physicians, residents, and families regarding care updates.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and care transitions.
• Support infection control and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to nursing staff.
• Ensure adherence to facility policies and state and federal regulations.
