About The Position
IntellaTriage is growing and seeking Nurse Triage RNs to work from home, providing care without the stress and expense of commuting. Our nurses support clients' nursing staffs, offering work-life balance while ensuring patient care is a priority. We do not have call quotas and employ the best nurses to provide excellent care. Patients and their families speak directly with a nurse when they reach our triage line. This is a busy, fast-paced role for nurses who enjoy remote work. Additional shifts may be available. IntellaTriage provides a laptop and headset; nurses must provide their own compatible high-speed internet (fiberoptic or coaxial cable) and connect directly to their modem. A quiet, private, HIPAA-compliant home office space is required. Training is provided remotely and is paid. Nurses must be comfortable with technology, able to follow instructions, and maintain their professional standing. Shift prep (30 minutes prior to calls) and charting after calls are paid time.
Requirements
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Compact Nursing License (states with pending legislation or future implementation dates are not considered current compacts until the implementation date).
- 3+ years as a RN.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment (e.g., ED, Surgical Services, or Critical Care).
- Must be comfortable with technology and accessing multiple applications remotely for documentation.
- Ability and comfort typing.
- Fluency in English.
- Must physically reside in the U.S. and be legally eligible to work.
- Must be able to complete the 3-week orientation and training.
- Must be available to work Saturday & Sunday on required weekends (2 of every 3 weekends).
- Must be available to work holidays as required (rotation).
- Able to handle stress and multitask when calls are coming in (minimum of 5+ calls per hour on weekdays, and much higher on weekends).
- Able to communicate with patients and families with empathy while maintaining adherence to client protocols.
- Must maintain CEU’s as designated by the states you are answering calls in.
- Must attend any in-services, additional training on an as needed basis.
- Able to pass background check and nurse licensing check.
- Must have high speed internet (fiberoptic or coaxial cable only).
- Must have a home office or quiet space free from noise or distractions (Privacy/HIPAA compliant).

Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and advice remotely.
- Respond to patient and family calls on the triage line.
- Follow client protocols and communicate with empathy.
- Complete charting after shifts, which may extend beyond the scheduled end time.
- Prepare for shifts by clocking in 30 minutes prior to taking calls.
- Maintain CEUs as required by licensing states.
- Attend in-services and additional training as needed.
