About The Position
The Nurse Tech is an incredible opportunity for a student enrolled in a Registered Nurse program at an accredited school and has completed at least one academic term, which included a clinical component or an individual who has completed the Registered Nurse course of study and is awaiting the results of their NCLEX exams. MultiCare Auburn Medical Center, serving South King County since 1921, is a 195-bed hospital with 58 behavioral health beds, a Family Birth Center, Level II NICU, Level III Trauma Center, MultiCare Regional Heart & Vascular Center, and advanced surgical services including robotic-assisted procedures. Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a student in accredited school preparing persons to practice as a Registered Nurse and completed at least one academic term which included a clinical component /OR Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Nursing Technician Registered credential
- Documentation of current clinical competencies from completed Nursing School course work
- Current BLS certification
- Must have completed first term and a clinical rotation of an accredited program.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care applying current health concepts and performing routine duties to the level of academic competence accomplished in the individual’s educational program(s) under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse.
- Contribute to the assigned unit nursing team, functioning as a member of the unit.
- Remain abreast of current trends/information in nursing and applies this knowledge/ information to practice.
- Attend required unit meetings/classes.
- Apply your knowledge, judgment, and skills as based upon the principles of biological, physiological, behavioral, and sociological sciences.
