About The Position
The Nurse Tech performs various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary for the personal needs and comfort of patients. The Nurse Tech provides basic patient care and assists with activities of daily living (ADLs) under the close supervision of a nurse. Basic patient care and ADLs include patient bathing, feeding, and preparation for treatment, taking and recording vital signs, changing bed linen, preparing treatment trays and other supplies, and assisting nursing service personnel with a variety of other patient care duties for which competencies have been verified. The Nurse Tech relies on established guidelines to accomplish tasks and works under the close supervision of the nurse.
Requirements
- Must be a student pursuing a nursing degree.
- Ability to perform basic patient care and ADLs.
- Ability to take and record vital signs.
- Ability to follow established guidelines.

Responsibilities
