About The Position

Are you a current nursing student who has completed at least one semester of school? Have you successfully passed pharmacology? Do you want to gain valuable nursing experience? As a nurse tech you will: administer medications and/or treatments perform delegated nursing or nursing related duties under the direct supervision of a registered nurse collect data on patient/resident conditions maintain accurate and complete records of nursing care and report significant resident observations and changes in condition to the registered nurse in charge

Requirements

• current certification as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) in the State of Wisconsin
• successful completion of at least one semester of nursing school
• successful completion of pharmacology

Responsibilities

• administer medications and/or treatments
• perform delegated nursing or nursing related duties under the direct supervision of a registered nurse
• collect data on patient/resident conditions
• maintain accurate and complete records of nursing care
• report significant resident observations and changes in condition to the registered nurse in charge
