Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program
  • Completed Fundamentals of Nursing (transcripts and competency list required)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required within one month of hire
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs regularly
  • Prolonged standing and walking
  • Ability to bend, kneel, twist, and squat

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the RN or LPN, assists in the individualized care of the patient to achieve the patient's highest level of wellness.
  • Works cooperatively with others as part of a team; recognizes the importance of group goals.
  • Performs designated clinical procedures and nonclinical support tasks essential to providing care to the patient.
  • Under the supervision of an RN or LPN, you’ll assist in providing compassionate, individualized care to patients.
  • You’ll perform clinical procedures and support tasks that directly impact patient outcomes—all while learning from experienced professionals.
