About The Position
AMG Specialty Hospital - Albuquerque seeks a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (Nurse Tech, PCT, or CNA) for day shifts. The role assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients, and helps maintain a safe and clean environment. Work is under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. The hospital specializes in managing complex medical needs and uses a multidisciplinary approach that includes clinical and therapeutic interventions and family involvement.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent (GED).
- Current BLS certification.
- At least six months to one year of related work experience.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
Nice To Haves
- Additional languages are desirable.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Provide basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients.
