About The Position

Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for compassionate, dependable, and team-focused Nurse Techs (CNAs) to join the overnight team at Hillcrest Shadow Lake in Papillion. Hillcrest Shadow Lake provides a welcoming senior living environment where residents are supported with dignity, respect, and personalized care. As a Nurse Tech, you’ll play an important role in helping residents feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout the night. Requirements

• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant course required.
• Active Nebraska CNA certification required.
• Basic Life Support/CPR certification required or must be obtained within Hillcrest’s established timeframe.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Must be able to safely assist residents with activities of daily living, transfers, mobility, and personal care.
• Must be able to perform repetitive standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and movement throughout the shift.
• Must be able to remain flexible and calm when supporting residents, families, and team members.
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced care environment.
• Must be able to utilize electronic documentation systems and other healthcare technology.
• Must follow established infection-control, safety, and care procedures.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous CNA, senior living, assisted living, long-term care, post-acute, or similar experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with toileting, hygiene, repositioning, dressing, and other activities of daily living.
• Help with transfers, ambulation, and mobility as needed.
• Respond promptly to call lights and requests for assistance.
• Obtain and document vital signs as directed.
• Observe residents for changes in condition, behavior, comfort, or mobility.
• Communicate changes or concerns promptly to the nurse.
• Support nighttime routines and help residents remain comfortable and safe.
• Assist with hydration, snacks, and other individual needs.
• Encourage residents to maintain as much independence as possible.
• Follow individualized care plans and resident preferences.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Maintain resident privacy, dignity, safety, and confidentiality.
• Follow infection-control and safe resident-handling procedures.
• Communicate positively with residents, families, nurses, and fellow team members.
• Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment.
• Jump in and help wherever needed to keep the overnight shift running smoothly.
