Hillcrest Health & Living is looking for a compassionate and dependable Nurse Tech to join our team at Hillcrest Millard in Omaha, NE. As a Nurse Tech, you will make a meaningful difference every shift by providing hands-on care, comfort, and support to guests and residents.

Requirements

  • An active CNA license in the state of Nebraska.
  • Experience providing personal care services in long-term care, post-acute care, hospital, senior living, or a similar setting preferred.
  • A compassionate, dependable, and team-first approach.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • A strong focus on resident dignity, comfort, safety, and quality of care.
  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant license in Nebraska required.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
  • Must be able to independently lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive sitting, bending, standing, walking, and movement as needed.
  • Must be flexible, calm, and professional in changing or stressful situations.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to utilize technology and care resources efficiently and effectively.
  • Possible exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous healthcare, senior living, post-acute, or long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality personal care and daily living support while helping guests and residents feel safe, respected, and cared for.
  • Assist guests and residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, hygiene, and other personal care needs.
  • Support guests and residents with meals, dining, hydration, and daily routines.
  • Help create a safe, comfortable, clean, and respectful environment.
  • Follow individualized care plans, safety standards, and infection-control procedures.
  • Communicate guest or resident needs, concerns, and changes in condition to nurses and care team members.
  • Assist with documentation and guest/resident support as directed.
  • Partner with nurses, medication aides, therapy, and other team members to support quality care.
  • Build positive relationships with guests, residents, families, and team members.
  • Bring a calm, compassionate, and team-focused approach to each shift.
