About The Position

As a Level III Regional Referral Center, Woman’s is part of a select group of hospitals in the nation that can provide quality care for the smallest and sickest babies. Our unit is designed to focus on intensive care while encouraging family bonding. Our designation means we have a neonatologist and anesthesiologist available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our caring team of neonatologists and specially trained nurses monitor the baby’s condition at all times by direct observation, and by using the latest specialized equipment and technology available. We also participate in the Vermont Oxford Quality Improvement Collaborative with 500 other NICUs across the country to keep abreast of the latest research and emerging practices that offer the best care for premature and critically ill babies.
