The Rehabilitation Technician supports therapy services by preparing treatment areas, assisting with patient care activities, and helping keep the department running smoothly. This role plays an important part in creating a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for patients and staff. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous medically related experience (rehab tech, nursing assistant, patient transport, etc.)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs using proper body mechanics
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, push, pull, and carry throughout the shift

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment areas before sessions and clean/reset spaces afterward
• Assist with equipment setup and basic patient support during therapy
• Transport inpatients to and from therapy appointments
• Clean, maintain, and track therapy equipment per department standards
• Help with front desk duties such as answering phones, greeting visitors, scheduling, and patient check-in/out
• Deliver and retrieve supplies, paperwork, mail, and equipment as needed
• Support quality improvement, safety, and departmental performance initiatives
• Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Provide courteous, age-appropriate service to patients and families
