About The Position

Located on the second floor at Freeman Hospital West, the Cardiology unit is a fast-paced, high-energy, procedurally driven unit caring for patients with cardiac or vascular ailments. This 45-bed unit is focused on "anything and everything HEART!". Bedside care is delivered by a team of high-quality nursing staff consisting of Registered Nurses, New Graduate Nurses, Unit Techs and Unit Secretaries.

Requirements

• Active Missouri Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 60 days.
• Must successfully pass Patient Care Orientation (PCO) within 30 days of hire.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training Program (CPI) within 180 days.
• NT Competency Day annually by transcript due date.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction/supervision of a nurse, provides basic nursing care needs for assigned patients.
