As part of the Child, Youth & Emerging Adult Program (CYEAP), Child, Youth and Family Services (CYFS) provides care and treatment to children and youth between the ages of 6 and 24. Clients and their families served by CYFS are offered specialized services and customized care across an inpatient, day treatment, and outpatient continuum of care. Reporting to the Senior Manager of CYFS and working collaboratively with the Child Youth & Emerging Adult Program (CYEAP) practice leadership group, the full-time, temporary (8 months) Nurse Team Lead supports the Senior Manager and Clinical Operation Coordination Leader (COCL) to anticipate needs of the Concurrent Youth Unit (CYU) and collaborates with the unit’s interprofessional team to provide effective coordination of client/patient-centered care, consistent with CAMH’s vision and strategic directions. With the COCL and Intake Role, the Team Lead will support the communication, liaison and coordination of client/patient admissions and discharges.
