Nurse Supervisor - RN or LPN - Evenings
About The Position
Mount Carmel Care Center, a Faith-Based, Non-Profit, boutique-sized Long-Term Care facility (69 beds) in the heart of the Berkshires, is seeking a motivated and caring Nurse Supervisor (RN or LPN). Twice voted "Best of the Berkshires," the facility has been sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm since 2013 and maintains a mission-based environment. This role involves evening shifts (3pm to 11pm) with on-call duties once every five weeks, offering competitive compensation between $39 and $51 per hour based on license and experience. Mount Carmel Care Center is the only Faith-Based Skilled Nursing Facility in the region.
Requirements
- Current MA RN - Registered Nurse or LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse License
- 1 year's experience in nursing supervision or nursing management in a Long-Term Care.
- BLS Certification required.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough assessments of residents.
- Manage staff on each unit, ensure proper resources are provided and coordinate staffing assignments.
- Provide hands-on nursing care as necessary.
- Ensure incidents are investigated, documented, reviewed and reported correctly.
- Provide support to the facility by working on-call when needed.
- Oversee new admissions when Nursing Managers are not available.
- Ensure communication with providers, resident families and administration.
