About The Position
Virginia Beach Psychiatric Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for its adult psychiatric services. This full-time, day-shift role coordinates and supervises personnel providing patient care and all components of the treatment program. The center is a 100-bed acute-care inpatient behavioral health facility serving adults with diverse and complex mental health needs, including older adults, people living with chronic mental illness, and people needing substance abuse treatment and medical detoxification. Its programs use evidence-based practices and compassionate, patient-centered care to support stabilization, recovery, and long-term wellness.
Requirements
- Current license to practice nursing in Virginia.
- Three years of supervisory experience; inpatient setting preferred.
- Two years of experience in mental health.
- Current CPR or BLS certification.
- Valid driver's license.
