About The Position
Provide leadership and oversight of nursing operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and staff performance management. Responsible for coordinating nursing teams, improving clinical outcomes, and supporting quality improvement initiatives across units.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required (NY State preferred)
- NYSED Primary Source Verification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 7 years nursing experience required
- Minimum 5 years supervisory/leadership experience required
- Strong knowledge of nursing operations, compliance, and quality improvement
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage staff performance and corrective actions
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily nursing operations and staff
- Monitor patient care quality and ensure regulatory compliance
- Develop and implement quality improvement programs
- Collaborate with nurse managers to evaluate unit performance
- Address staff performance issues and support corrective actions
- Maintain documentation for incidents, medication errors, and compliance tracking
- Support staff training, onboarding, and performance evaluations
- Ensure adherence to infection control and safety standards
- Promote a patient-centered and professional care environment
