About The Position
NHC HealthCare Moulton is seeking a Nurse Supervisor, RN / LPN to join their team. This role involves overseeing staffing, admissions, discharges, education, conducting tours for prospective residents, and addressing family/resident concerns, among other assigned duties. The position is for night shifts and includes a $5000 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Licensed to practice in this state.
- Maintains CPR certification.
- Ability to meet performance requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (BSN, ASN).
- Participates in continuing education so that he/she has knowledge of current trends and developments in nursing and maintains current licensure requirements.
- Ventilator Unit/Critical care/Special Care experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee staffing, admissions, and discharges.
- Provide education.
- Conduct tours for prospective residents.
- Address family/resident concerns.
- Supervise and evaluate the work performance of nursing staff.
- Monitor care provided to ensure policies and procedures are followed.
- Carry out disciplinary actions as stated in personnel policies.
- Complete admission, discharge, and transfer documentation as needed.
- Monitor resident lab schedule and results.
- Monitor 24-hour report sheets and follow up accordingly.
