About The Position

The Nurse Supervisor works in a collaborative environment at Holy Cross Health within the Med/Surg Unit to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. Requirements

Graduate from an accredited nursing program: BSN required
Current Registered Nurse license by Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State required.
Certifications aligned with area of responsibility.

Nice To Haves

MSN preferred.
Prior relevant leadership experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Minimum 3 years of RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervises health care services including assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, providing, and supervising direct care to adult day care participants.
Leads the development and ongoing review of each participant’s plan of care to ensure continuity of care and medical oversight.
Utilizes knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient’s age to ensure that care provided meets the unique, physical and psychosocial needs of the participant.
Involves the participant’s caregiver(s), physician(s) and outside organizations and agencies in the assessment, treatment and continuing care of the participant as needed.
