About The Position
Home Care Nursing Supervisor, RN: Work with our amazing Home Care staff to provide oversight of the care and services furnished by employees to Interim HealthCare patients. Interim HealthCare of the Twin Cities offers a wide variety of home care, ranging from skilled nursing, physical therapy and other licensed health care services, which help with the everyday tasks that let people continue living at home where they are most comfortable. Additionally, we provide hospice care in the home that can make loved ones as comfortable as possible and provide support to the family, allowing them to concentrate on spending quality time together. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and licensed to practice as an RN in the State of Minnesota. License is active and in good standing.
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience as an RN, preferably in home care, and at least one (1) year supervisory experience
- Able to travel within a geographic area serviced by the office. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance.
- CPR Certification
Responsibilities
- Hires, supervises, evaluates, motivates and develops professional and paraprofessional employees.
- Follows accepted standards of clinical practice.
- Uses clinical decision making to provide oversight and guidance to the home care team to efficiently and effectively manage the assigned patient population.
- Contributes to business growth by presenting information, education and support to external customers as requested.
- Will provide case management in the field when needed.
