Nurse Shift Manager EP Program
About The Position
As our EP Program Nurse Shift Manager, you will help patients undergoing cardiac electrophysiology (EP) procedures by coordinating their care and managing the inpatient EP program so they can receive safe, efficient, and high-quality treatment and achieve optimized outcomes. Every day you will coordinate care for patients, including pre-operative and post-operative management, and communicate essential case updates to all involved parties. You will be expected to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including cardiac electrophysiologists, advanced practice providers (APPs), and nursing staff, while also providing patient education to facilitate timely discharge and managing procedure orders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or other field
- BLS through American Heart Association
- ACLS through American Heart Association
- Minimum One (1) year cardiac nursing experience
Nice To Haves
- Prior electrophysiology or cardiology inpatient experience
- Experience with cardiac rhythm interpretation
