About The Position
NHC Place at The Trace is seeking a full-time Nurse Scheduler to join their team. This role involves creating the nursing department schedule, scheduling interviews, maintaining and auditing personnel files, tabulating hours worked by nursing staff, and performing daily staffing meetings with nursing managers. The ideal candidate will have a heart for geriatric patients and share NHC's values of honesty and integrity.
Requirements
- LPN license is required
- Must be organized and present a professional appearance
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of scheduling is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- At least two years secretarial experience (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Create nursing department schedule
- Schedule interviews
- Maintain and audit personnel files
- Tabulate hours worked by nursing staff for each pay period
- Perform staffing meeting daily with nursing managers
