About The Position

The Nursing Scheduler/Central Supply Coordinator is a key team member responsible for ensuring appropriate staffing levels are met at all times. This role also ensures that staff have the necessary equipment and supplies to care for residents by ordering, re-ordering, stocking, delivering, and maintaining inventory.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a state approved training program in medication administration.
  • Indiana QMA license.
  • Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assure appropriate staffing levels are met at all times.
  • Ensure staff have the necessary equipment and supplies to care for residents.
  • Order, re-order, stock, deliver, and maintain inventory of supplies.
  • Create staffing schedules that ensure the provision of quality nursing care.
  • Coordinate with the Executive Director and Director of Nursing to advise and communicate staffing schedules and needs.
  • Ensure compliance with appropriate budgetary, State and Federal guidelines.
