About The Position

Under the supervision and medical collaboration of our contracting physician and psychiatrist, the Northwood Registered Nurse works alongside an interdisciplinary team to provide education, medical care, and supervision to students in a residential setting. Compassion, positive energy, and strong organizational skills are required. Registered Nurse schedules are consistent and provide flexibility for personal time. Shifts include days, evenings, and every other weekend. No overnights. Northwood Children’s Services is looking for a compassionate and energetic Registered Nurse with strong organizational skills to provide general health care supervision to our students in a residential setting. We have a .8 FTE position available. Shifts include days, evenings, and every other weekend. No overnights.

Requirements

  • Current RN license in good standing with the state of MN
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Demonstrates knowledge and experience in assessment, utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to provide quality patient centered care

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatrics and/or mental health preferred

Responsibilities
