Nurse - RN or LPN - Charge Nurse
About The Position
Dove Healthcare is seeking a Charge Nurse, either an RN or LPN, for their Rice Lake location. This position offers a flexible schedule with 12-hour shifts, allowing for more days off and fewer commutes. The role emphasizes a supportive team environment, consistent hours, and the opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives. The facility boasts a strong health inspection record, with zero citations in 2022, significantly below national and state averages. Overtime is available if desired, and hours are guaranteed not to be cut. Shift differentials are provided for hours worked between 2pm and 6am.
Requirements
- Current licensure in the State of Wisconsin as a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Degree from an accredited school of nursing
- Ability to understand and carry out technical oral and written instructions
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to accept and give directions
- Work well in a team environment
- A desire to make a difference in people's lives
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of patient care through directing and supervising other nurses, nurse technicians, medication aides, and CNA team members
- Provide direct patient care through medication and treatment administration
- Observe and manage acute changes in a patient's condition
- Help provide a safe, comfortable, and home-like environment
- Other duties as assigned
