About The Position

We are seeking a Nurse Recruiter to bring fresh ideas and invigorating energy to our company! This position is perfect for a self-starter that enjoys a challenge and will be motivated by the desire to track down the most effective nurses in the field to help match our clients’ needs. Cooperative Home Care is a locally owned and operated homecare company; we believe in our mission to help our clients live as independently as possible with the most talented, capable caregivers, CNAs, LPNs, and RNs at their service for 40 years.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal skills to make our job candidates feel welcome and important from the moment you first contact them.
  • Flexibility and organizational skills to reach the largest pool of talented applicants to successfully fill our nursing positions.
  • High School graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • 1-year minimum experience recruiting, preferably healthcare related
  • 1-year minimum experience using a recruiting CTS
  • Must have extensive knowledge in Word, Excel, Office 365.

Responsibilities

  • Screening and hiring the most skilled and reliable nurses for our clients aligned with company hiring goals.
  • Supervising a candidate through the early stages of the hiring process including scheduling and conducting interviews, overseeing background checks.
  • Recognizing that our field staff is our foundation and acting as a liaison between them and management to advocate for the most positive work environment.
  • Assisting in creating and maintaining effective ads that best reflect the opportunities our company can offer employees.
  • Engaging effectively with interested jobseekers through multiple social media, community, and hiring platforms.
  • Assisting with the hiring of administrative staff that’s best suited to our company’s growth and vision.
  • Other challenging and necessary duties as assigned.
