About The Position

Alan B. Miller Medical Center opening in Spring 2026! A neighborhood hospital with medical center excellence! The new state-of-the-art hospital will join UHS’ growing regional network of healthcare operations which includes Wellington Regional Medical Center, the ER at Westlake (an extension of Wellington Regional Medical Center), Wellington Physicians Urgent Care and other healthcare services and access points. The Alan B. Miller Medical Center will feature 150 private patient rooms, a medical office building and a helistop. Upon completion of the initial phase of the project, the hospital campus will include 365,000 square feet of hospital and medical office space. The new Medical Center will offer comprehensive medical services including Emergency Care, Orthopedics and Surgical Services, Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Oncology, Cardiovascular and Neurosurgical services. In addition, the campus will be home to medical office buildings that will provide outpatient services. Nurse Recruiter The Nurse Recruiter directs the facility recruitment strategy targeting qualified nurse candidates. The Nurse Recruiter is responsible for all aspects of Nurse (RN/LPN) recruitment objectives, Manages the recruitment and selection process for assigned exempt and non-exempt positions to include the development and implementation of recruitment plans, recruitment advertising programs, recruitment metrics, and recruitment related activities and initiatives. Directly posts, sources passive candidates, negotiates salary, and closes candidate’s offers. Develops recruitment techniques, strategies and action plans to efficiently cover recruitment workload. Ensures compliance with hospital policies, corporate requirements, and relevant employment laws. Develops and maintains nursing school relationship, reporting recruitment statistics, networking, and special projects assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or Health Care related field from an accredited educational institution required.
Two years full-cycle recruitment experience within a healthcare, preferably acute care, setting required. 3-5 years' experience preferred.
Ability to build strong relationships with candidates and customers, resulting in fulfilling talent acquisition needs.
Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
Excellent computer skills including advanced ATS proficiency, strong HRIS, MS Office, Powerpoint and Excel skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Effective communications skills, both verbal and written.
Organized and detailed oriented.
Sensitivity in handling confidential information.
Demonstrated ability to develop recruitment plans and research and resolve complex recruitment issues.

Nice To Haves

HR (SPHR, HRCI) or HR Specialty certification preferred.
