About The Position

At The Gardens at Quail Springs, we provide assisted living and memory care, aiming to create a thriving environment for seniors and a supportive workplace for our staff. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled LVN or LPN to join our Wellness team on a PRN weekend basis. This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy working with seniors, value clinical excellence, and desire a flexible yet meaningful career. As the weekend nurse, you will be the primary clinical point of contact for residents and their families, ensuring their needs are met with high-quality care.

Requirements

Active LVN or LPN license in the State of Oklahoma (required)
1+ year of nursing experience in a healthcare setting (required)
Weekend availability on a PRN / as-needed basis (required)
A genuine heart for seniors and the aging journey
Strong communication skills - with residents, families, physicians, and peers
The ability to make sound, independent decisions under pressure
A team player who shows up, follows through, and lifts others up

Nice To Haves

Experience in geriatric care, emergency care, or first aid (strongly preferred)
Alzheimer's / dementia care experience or training in Validation Therapy (a plus)

Responsibilities

Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to assisted living residents in accordance with care plans and physician orders
Perform physical assessments and identify changes in resident condition - then act on them
Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions
Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
Provide resident and family education with patience and clarity
Maintain accurate, timely documentation
Uphold infection control standards and resident rights
Step into a clinical lead role as needed in the absence of the Director of Resident Care
