About The Position

We are a well-established, growing outpatient primary care practice in Katy, Texas, seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. This is an opportunity for a provider who enjoys building long-term relationships with patients, practicing broad-spectrum primary care, and working alongside an experienced and collaborative clinical team. Our practice serves a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric patients to seniors, with a strong emphasis on preventive care, chronic condition management, women's health, and providing as much comprehensive care in-house as possible. We're looking for someone who is confident in their clinical abilities, comfortable practicing independently, and committed to becoming a long-term member of the team. The practice takes a full-spectrum approach to primary care and aims to provide comprehensive care whenever feasible, while also valuing collaboration and physician consultation for more complex clinical decisions.

Requirements

  • Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Texas
  • Appropriate national certification for your provider designation
  • 3+ years of full-time primary care experience
  • Experience providing broad-spectrum or full-scope outpatient primary care
  • Strong clinical judgment and the ability to make confident decisions independently
  • Comfortable managing both acute and chronic conditions
  • Experience with preventive care, wellness visits, and women's health
  • Strong communication and patient education skills
  • Professional, polished, and approachable with patients and colleagues
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
  • Reliable, mature, and interested in making a long-term commitment to the practice

Nice To Haves

  • Spanish/English bilingual skills are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive physical exams and patient assessments
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Develop individualized treatment and care plans
  • Order and interpret appropriate laboratory tests, imaging, and diagnostic studies
  • Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness
  • Provide preventive care, wellness visits, and routine physicals
  • Provide women's health services and annual wellness care
  • Manage chronic conditions and help patients navigate their ongoing healthcare needs
  • Keep as much appropriate patient care in-house as possible while making referrals when necessary
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care
  • Collaborate with physicians and the clinical team on complex cases
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation
