The Nurse Practitioner at Ward 86 will deliver comprehensive care to a diverse patient population, including individuals living with or at risk for HIV, who are unstably housed, those with substance use disorders, and patients with Hepatitis B and/or C. This position will also manage patients on long-acting antiretroviral therapy (ART) for both treatment and prevention of HIV. The NP will work within a large urban HIV clinic and will have responsibilities that include proctoring Nurse Practitioner students, participating and/or leading quality improvement initiatives, and collaborating with academic institutions. The NP will provide care to HIV positive women, men, young adults, and older adults, ensuring a holistic and inclusive approach to treatment. The role involves conducting thorough assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in similar environments and demonstrate a commitment to improving the health and well-being of individuals living with HIV.
