Planned Parenthood North Central States is seeking a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner to provide clinical services, including reproductive and sexual health care, to patients at designated health centers. The Clinician will act as an advocate for the mission of advancing and protecting sexual and reproductive healthcare for all, and may perform other duties to support health center operations. This role involves providing patient-focused care, managing patient history and physical exams, ordering and interpreting tests, developing treatment plans, providing patient education, and collaborating with the healthcare team. The Nurse Practitioner will also be responsible for accurate documentation, supervising clinic support staff, meeting clinic goals, and staying up-to-date on reproductive health developments. They will prescribe all FDA-approved methods of birth control, provide abortion follow-up, and refer patients for abortion, prenatal care, or adoption services. For specific sites, they may also evaluate and manage medication abortion patients and participate in onboarding new employees.
