Nurse Practitioner Full Time
About The Position
AFC Urgent Care is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to join its team in San Diego, California. AFC operates walk-in urgent care centers that provide patient-centered care for acute illnesses and injuries, with on-site laboratory and X-ray services. Centers are open seven days a week. The role offers a stable, supported practice and an environment intended to help clinicians increase their scope of practice. Scheduling options include 8–10 shifts per month, typically 2–3 workdays per week, with shifts of 9–12 hours. Center hours are 8 a.m.–8 p.m.; pre-approved overtime is available. The position pays $74–$78 per hour, with additional biweekly bonuses based on patient-volume thresholds. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid vacation, a 401(k), and CME reimbursement.
Requirements
- Unrestricted medical license in California.
- DEA certificate.
- FNP or ENP certificate.
- AANP or ANCC board certification.
- At least two years of experience in an emergency room, urgent care, or primary care setting.
- Ability to treat patients of all ages and comfort with minor procedures.
- Availability to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.
