About The Position

The Center for Specialized Services (CSS) includes Concierge Medicine and Executive Health, providing high-touch care to patients. Reporting to the Nurse manager, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) is an integral member the patient care team. The NP works alongside providers and other team members to provide superior care and service to patients. The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a licensed provider. The NP is responsible for assessing and managing various patient populations, including those with medical and/or surgical conditions, as well as providing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, developing appropriate plans of care, and conducting ongoing evaluations.

Requirements

Master's Degree Nursing required
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse [MA]
2 years of licensed nurse practitioner experience.
Skilled in taking medical histories to assess medical condition and interpret findings.
Ability to maintain quality control standards.
Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures.
Ability to communicate clearly and establish/maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and the public.

Responsibilities

Provides direct care, counseling, and education to a designated patient population in ambulatory setting.
Performs complete histories and physical examinations.
Orders, interprets, and evaluates appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests.
Develops appropriate plans of care and follow-up based on the outcomes of diagnostic, laboratory, and physical examination findings.
Orders medications and writes prescriptions according to organizational and regulatory policies and procedures.
Consistently provides high-quality and timely documentation, including progress notes.
