About The Position
This is a part-time, 1099 contract role for a Nurse Practitioner to conduct one-time assessments for Veterans' disability claims. The position offers a low-stress setting with guaranteed income and built-in support, allowing clinicians to make a meaningful impact serving Veterans. The role involves reviewing records and completing assessments electronically on a secure platform, with fully provided technology, training, and clinical support. It specifically excludes treatments, procedures, diagnosing, prescribing, billing, disability percentage calculations, scheduling appointments, and walk-ins. The role also does not require working nights, weekends, or holidays.
Requirements
- Must be a Nurse Practitioner.
- Ability to conduct one-time assessments.
- Proficiency in electronic record review and assessment completion.
- Willingness to work in a low-stress setting.
- Ability to work 2 days per week.
