About The Position
We are seeking progressive and entrepreneurial Full-Time Weekend Warrior Nurse Practitioners with adult and pediatric experience to join our welcoming and diverse community of Northwell providers in our Suffolk County Region. Serve across the Suffolk Region as a key part of our care team. Commit to just 24 hours per week and receive full-time pay (32 hours)—plus eligibility for comprehensive benefits (medical/vision/dental). Weekend Warriors must be flexible to travel to all centers within the Suffolk County Region and must also be flexible to work the following scheduling combinations to be considered: Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday → 8-, 12-, or 16-hour shifts. Requirements
- NP: 2 or more yrs. of Full-Time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting treating all ages (6 months and older)
- Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), reading EKGs and X-rays.
Responsibilities
- Serve across the Suffolk Region as a key part of our care team.
- Commit to just 24 hours per week and receive full-time pay (32 hours).
- Be flexible to travel to all centers within the Suffolk County Region.
- Be flexible to work the following scheduling combinations: Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Monday → 8-, 12-, or 16-hour shifts.
- Assist patients by taking vitals, reviewing medications, applying splints and administering meds and vaccines.
- Perform minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.).
- Read EKGs and X-rays.
