About The Position
Join a growing outpatient psychiatric practice as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in medication management only, all from the comfort of your home. This 100% telehealth position is ideal for FNPs and other APRNs (primary care–credentialed) looking for a change from traditional primary care, offering more focus, less chaos, better compensation, and true flexibility. Prior psychiatric certification is welcome but not required, and you will be supported throughout the transition.
Requirements
- Licensed APRN (FNP or other primary care) in Connecticut
- Interest in transitioning into psychiatric medication management
- Comfortable working independently in a telehealth setting
Nice To Haves
- Prior psych certification is welcome—but not required.
Responsibilities
- Log into a secure telehealth platform from home (remotely)
- Conduct patient interviews and psychiatric evaluations
- Diagnose and manage common outpatient psychiatric conditions (Depression, Anxiety, Insomnia, OCD, ADHD, Grief and adjustment disorders)
- Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications
- Maintain clear and compliant documentation
