About The Position

The IMA Group is looking for Nurse Practitioners in Melbourne, FL to perform disability evaluations for U.S. veterans through the VA benefits process. This role involves conducting medical disability evaluations, reviewing medical records, diagnostics, and supporting documentation, documenting findings in clear, accurate electronic reports, and ensuring evaluations meet VA quality and documentation standards. This position offers a unique opportunity to trade the typical healthcare grind for a more purposeful role, keeping clinical skills sharp while regaining evenings and weekends. It is an evaluation-only role with no ongoing patient management or panel pressure, featuring a true Monday–Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements. Requirements

• Active, unrestricted NP license
• Master's or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program
• Current clinical NP experience

Nice To Haves

• Background in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, PM&R, Orthopedics, or related specialty preferred
