Nurse Practitioner

Neko Health
$150,000 - $180,000Onsite

About The Position

Neko is redefining what prevention means, from treating illness when it arrives, to sustaining health before it's ever at risk. Our mission: make data-driven, preventative care accessible to more people, before symptoms appear. In a single, non-invasive visit under an hour, proprietary technology and direct clinical care combine to deliver personalised, actionable insights. It's a team that thinks in 10x, not 10%. Every role here plays a part in building a world where prevention is the norm, and where your work genuinely helps people live longer, healthier lives. The Nurse Practitioner will deliver Neko's preventive-care model to members in Washington, DC, using advanced, non-invasive technology and clinical expertise to identify health risks early and translate findings into action plans that genuinely change what a member does next. This is a deeply collaborative role at the intersection of clinical excellence, member experience, and a conviction that catching things early changes lives. You'll practice at the full scope of your license, partner closely with Physicians for escalation and collaborative review, and work alongside Operators and cross-functional teams to deliver a connected, insight-driven member experience.

Requirements

  • Active District of Columbia APRN license with Nurse Practitioner authorization.
  • Current national board certification (ANCC or AANP) in good standing, with a population focus of Family (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Primary Care (AGPCNP).
  • At least 1 year of post-graduate NP experience.
  • Recent outpatient experience (at least a year in the past 5 years).
  • Comfort working in a tech-forward, fast-moving clinical environment.
  • Genuine belief in the mission — a personal commitment to preventive medicine, not just as a specialism, but as a way of practicing. You think it's wrong that this isn't how everyone practices medicine.
  • Member-first instinct — you take the member experience personally, not just procedurally, and measure a consultation's success by how the member felt, not only by the findings.
  • Team-lifting collaboration — you make the people around you better by showing up consistently, sharing what you know, and caring how the team performs as a whole.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive preventive health screenings using Neko's high-resolution skin imaging, cardiovascular assessments, and AI-powered decision support, ensuring consistent quality across every member visit.
  • Create personalized, action-oriented health plans from screening data, translating them into next steps the member actually takes, measured by member follow-through and downstream outcomes.
  • Educate members on dermatological and cardiovascular risk factors and lifestyle strategies in a way that resonates, measured by how the member felt about the consultation, not just the clinical findings.
  • Escalate findings that warrant physician-level review to Physicians clearly and in a timely manner, strengthening continuity of care and clinical quality across the clinic.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operators, Physicians, and care teams to improve continuity of care and the end-to-end member experience.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and mental health coverage.
  • Complimentary full Neko scan for you and eligible family members.
  • CME benefits
  • Flexible time off.
