Nurse Practitioner - Skilled Nursing Facility - 10k Sign-On Bonus

About The Position

Serve as a primary care provider for geriatric patients located in a skilled nursing facility. A low volume of patients are seen per day, allowing ample time to focus on all needs and to provide proper attention and support. The practice uses an EHR on a mobile-based platform and providers are supported by team members who assist with scheduling, orders, referrals, etc. Providers share on-call responsibilities, which is low volume phone triage. Providers are on call no more than 3 nights per month and flexibility in that schedule is offered.

Requirements

• North Carolina NP license
• DEA
• 1+ year advanced practice experience
• 1+ year experience in relevant settings (facilities, home care, geriatrics, etc.)

Responsibilities

• plan, direct, and evaluate medical care
• examine and treat chronic illnesses
• examine and treat urgent illnesses
• order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing
• collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare professionals
• work closely with the interdisciplinary care team
• make referrals as necessary
